On January 8, the skyline of Miami and M/Y What a Country provided the backdrop for the official opening of Deep Harbour in marina section of Island Garden on Watson Island.
Speeches from the property’s concept architect, Eric Kuhne of CivicArts; Island Gardens’ developer Mehmet Bayraktar, chairman/CEO, Flagstone Property Group; Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and Miami Commissioner Wifredo Gort, are much awaited by the invited guests, leaders and city officials.
Guests made their way through the lounge, waterfront dock and yacht docks where the marina’s first annual contract, M/Y What a Country, a 121-foot Benetti Classic, tied-up for the rope-cutting ceremony.
It is expected that a number of yachts will be on display at Deep Harbour for the coming Yachts Miami Beach show this Feb. 11-15.
